2 from Phillips Energy to co-chair Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Elizabeth McCormick and Nora Wood have joined the Alzheimer’s Association as the 2021 Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck Walk to End Alzheimer’s co-chairs.

“We are honored to have been asked to co-chair the 2021 Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This will be our ninth year participating in the Walk. We will strive to make this year’s event another great one,” said McCormick, Executive Vice President and owner of Phillips Energy, Inc., who lost her father L. Frank Phillips Jr. to Alzheimer’s disease in 2016.

The walk’s fundraising goal is $85,000. Last year, the walk raised more than $79,000, far surpassing its goal of $52,000 in the year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
