12 GHS field hockey players win All-District honors

Twelve Gloucester High School varsity field hockey players received Peninsula All-District honors and head coach Mike Miller was named the district Co-Coach of the Year along with Danielle Brookover of Heritage High School. 

Gloucester players named to the All-District first team were junior forward Kessa Romero, sophomore forward H.P. Johnson, sophomore midfielders Tally Vaughan, Allison Goodwin and Farren Winter, junior defender Madi Hodges and freshman defender Brooke Billhimer. Senior goalie Jillian Lawrence was also named to the first team. 

Named to the All-District second team were senior forward Karagan Winfrey, senior midfielder Whitney Robins, sophomore defender Ainsley Miller and senior defender Carli Walke. Sophomore Meg Teagle received an honorable mention. ...
