Suspect arrested in Gloucester burglaries

A Mathews man who was arrested last month and charged with two counts of grand larceny now faces 10 additional felonies.

Kevin James Farmer, 28, of Hudgins was charged last Thursday with four additional grand larcenies, four counts of possessing burglary tools and two counts of burglary, according to warrants filed in Gloucester District Court.

The charges last week were made in connection with multiple recent burglaries at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, the Gloucester Youth Baseball League office and Peninsula Heating and Air, according to Capt. J.W. Schick of the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office; 

Farmer was previously arrested on Feb. 9 and charged with two counts of grand larceny related to Feb. 8 and 9 thefts from Peninsula Heating and Air. ...
