The following felony crimes were recently reported by the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office:
A traffic stop Oct. 19 in the 6000 block of Route 17 for displaying improper tags resulted in the driver being issued a summons for driving with a suspended license and a 45-year-old male passenger of Fleming Rilee Lane was arrested for possessing a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
A loaded Remington .45 caliber 1911 semiautomatic pistol was reported taken between Oct. 15 and 19 from an unsecured vehicle and the location of the theft is unknown.
Two counterfeit checks from Car Max Super Store were passed at Checks for Cash in the 2000 block of Route 17 by two separate females, one last Thursday and the other on Friday, in the amounts of $647.70 and $801.05.
A Rosso .38-358 pistol was taken between last Thursday and Saturday from an unsecured vehicle at a residence in the 10000 block of Route 17.
