The following felony crime was recently reported by the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office:

Walmart loss prevention personnel allegedly observed a female at self-checkout not scanning items on Sunday before exiting past all points of sale. The 58-year-old woman of DeHardit Avenue was located on scene and taken into custody for larceny-third offense. The items were valued at $80.68.

Larceny: Walmart loss prevention personnel allegedly observed a male concealing unpaid for merchandise on Nov. 3 and confronted him when he passed the last point of sale. The male then returned the concealed merchandise to loss prevention before departing the area. The concealed merchandise was valued at $118.90; Walmart loss prevention personnel allegedly observed a male remove items and conceal them in his clothing before exiting past all points of sale on Nov. 3.
