Julien Patterson, founder of OMNIPLEX World Service Corporation, will be the guest speaker during Rappahannock Community College’s 47th commencement next Friday, May 10. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the school’s Warsaw campus.

Approximately 670 students will receive 1,050 awards during the ceremony, according to an RCC release. Also, over 300 workforce credentials have been earned and 60 dual-enrolled students in regional high schools will receive associate’s degrees weeks before they graduate from high school.

Patterson founded the company in 1990 and led it to become the premier provider of high-quality security services and innovative investigative solutions for government and commercial customers, the release stated. Under his leadership, OMNIPLEX grew to a successful mid-sized corporation with more than 3,500 security professionals and annual revenues of more than $100 million.
