THMS Book Fair begins Monday

Thomas Hunter Middle School Library will hold its annual Book Fair from Scholastic Feb. 4-12 to help raise funds to buy new books for the library.

The Book Fair will be open each day from 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and feature a wide range of books for young teens and adults, including mystery and adventure novels, fantasy series, sports guides, graphic novels, and the latest bestsellers from more than 100 publishers. Parents, children, teachers and the community are invited to attend.

From 6-7 p.m. Monday, the Book Fair will feature a Family Event during the Thomas Hunter Founder’s Day ceremony. Parents, students, teachers and community members are invited to browse and shop at the Book Fair during this time. Students attending this event will be entered into a drawing to win free books (no purchase necessary).

Before visiting the Book Fair, patrons are encouraged to download the Book Fairs app to help the find the right books for a child. For more information, visit: scholastic.com/apps/bookfairs. If unable to attend the fair in person, visit the online Book Fair at www.scholastic.com/bf/thomashunterschool. The school’s online fair is available through Feb. 12.

Fair attendees may also help build classroom libraries by purchasing books for teachers through the Classroom Wish List program. All purchases benefit the school.
