The runners in the annual event covered 250 miles from Fort Story in Virginia Beach to Arlington National Cemetery. Along the route, the runners stop at more than 700 markers, each of which honors a Virginia service member who has died since the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000. Photo by Quinton Sheppard
