The Gloucester Kennel Club won first place as Best Animal Group in Saturday’s Gloucester Christmas & Holiday Parade with its homage to the movie “Christmas Vacation” and Clark Griswold’s (Chevy Chase’s) Wagon Queen Family Truckster. Other first-place parade winners included: Knights of Columbus (Church Affiliated Float), Rappahannock Concrete (Best Commercial Entry), Kolonial Klowns (Best Community or Civic Group), Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers (Best Motor Club), Petsworth Elementary (Best School), GCPS Grounds Services (Best School Group), Cub Scout Pack 133 (Best Youth Group) and James Redmond (Best Individual).
