Ron Lambert, president of Mathews PATH (People Aging in Their Homes) will address Tuesday’s meeting of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1757. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Olivia’s on Main, Gloucester.

PATH is a nonprofit consortium of 80 Mathews friends and neighbors whose goal is to help each other age at home for as long as possible by supporting each other and sharing tasks and services, a release said. It describes itself as “people working together to make a real difference in the experience of helping each other live at home longer.”

Lambert is an EMT and has been on the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad for 12 years, three years as the chairman. He is on the board of directors for the Mathews YMCA, PATH, and Mathews Community Foundation. He is also active in Mathews Rotary, Mathews American Legion Post 83, Hands Across Mathews, Meals on Wheels, and teaches the Men’s Bible Class at Kingston Episcopal Parish. He joined the PATH Board in September 2017.

NARFE exists to support active and retired federal employees, the release said.
