FIRE REPORT

ABINGDON

Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue responded to 45 calls during the period Oct. 19-25, as follows: 33 medical calls, four public assists, three motor vehicle accidents, three fire/alarm, one structure fire and one boater emergency.

GLOUCESTER

Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue responded to 83 calls during the period Oct. 19-25, as follows: 70 medical, six motor vehicle accidents, two fire/alarm, two fire/other and one each of the following: structure fire, landing zone, and boater emergency.

Oct. 20, 7:50 p.m., vehicle accident, 100 block of Windsor Road at Fort Nonsense, one engine and one truck.

Oct. 23, 7:30 a.m., fire alarm activation, 1000 block of Hesse Farm Road, Cobbs Creek, one engine.

Oct. 24, 10:46 a.m., smoke investigation, 300 block of Godsey Creek Road, Bohannon, two engines, one truck and one tanker.
