This is the last legislative session where state lawmakers will be working out of the Virginia General Assembly Building in Richmond. After the session closes, the aging building will be demolished and a new building will be constructed in its place. In the meantime, lawmakers will have their offices in space across the street from the GAB. The process of rebuilding is expected to take about four years. Photo by Quinton Sheppard
