Flounder fishing is still hit and miss, according to reports from local bait and tackle shops. "Fish are biting one day but not the next in the same area," said Jerry Thrash with Queens Creek Outfitters, Cobbs Creek.

Cobias are available at York Spit, he said, and have been seen near the Cell.

Thrash said medium-sized croaker and spot have been available around Gwynn’s Island and in the creeks and small spadefish have been seen at Wolf Trap and near the Cell, but no large fish have been reported.
