Wagner takes 9th in state in high jump

Gloucester High School high jumper Evan Wagner placed ninth in her event during the Group AAA State Indoor Track and Field Championships held Friday and Saturday at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton.
Wagner posted a leap of 5’3" in the state meet. The winner of the girls’ high jump was an athlete from Matoaca High School who cleared 5’8". Wagner was the only GHS track and field competitor to advance to the state meet.
