In the team’s final regular season home game, the Mathews High School varsity volleyball team quickly got to work, after taking out time out to honor seniors Lindsay Crigler and Casey Parrish, by beating West Point on Tuesday night in three straight sets. Mathews won by scores of 25-6, 25-12 and 25-20.
Mathews had little problem dispatching the visiting Pointers in the first two sets. In the third set, the Devils struggled as the girls missed numerous serves, but they kept their composure to finish the three-set sweep.
