MHS football taking part in U of R camp

The Mathews High School football team will be attending the University of Richmond Football Camp from Sunday until next Wednesday. The cost for the camp is $65. The camp is offered for rising ninth through 12th graders.
To offset the cost, the team will hold car washes on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hardee’s restaurant in Mathews and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sutton’s Restaurant in Gloucester.
The MHS weight room will continue to be open next week from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for those who are not going the Richmond football camp.
