The Tidewater field hockey team comprised of girls from Page, Peasley and Tabb middle schools, won gold medals with its 3-0 performance in the Commonwealth Games in Lexington on Saturday. The team included Fluff Gorde, Courtney O’Brien, Taylor Omweg, Melissa Progar, A.G. Cherry, Cassidy Goodwin, Courtnie Greene, Tori Harwood, Madison Vann, Bri Greene, Meredith Lebel, Madison Hutson, Lauren Mitcham and Lacey Elliott. The girls were coached by Brooke Feiner.
