Gloucester High School golfers continued to dominate the Peninsula District field in recent outings, winning at Piankatank, Ford’s Colony and Kiskiack. The Dukes have won all five PD events and hold a 63-stroke advantage over second-place Kecoughtan going into the final four matches.

Gloucester’s Zack Robb was the medalist last Thursday with a 79 on the par 72 course at the Piankatank River Golf Club. Teammates Zac Kounse and Kyle Flippin each shot an 84 and Hector Rios posted an 86 for a winning score of 333. Kecoughtan trailed with 362 team strokes.

Playing the par 71 course at Ford’s Colony on Aug. 25, Kyle Rowe and Rios led the field as co-medalists with scores of 79 each for the Dukes. Kounse contributed a round of 83 and Robb came in at 85. Gloucester tallied 326 and Kecoughtan followed with 342.
