The 10th annual Swift Walker Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Rappahannock General Hospital Cancer Treatment and Education Center in Kilmarnock will be held on Friday, April 30, at the Tartan Golf Course in Weems.

The Mathews Extension office is accepting registration for the 4-H Junior Camp for children ages nine to 13 to be held June 14-18 at the Jamestown 4-H Center near Williamsburg.
Thirty nine students earned their Virginia Boating Safety Cards following a free, one-day Boat Virginia course, held Feb. 26 at the Mathews Yacht Club.
Successful completion of the class is required to earn the card, which this year is required for those aged 35 and under in order to operate a personal watercraft.
