Mini Metrotec taxis driven by Riley Hesley of Gloucester, at left, and Brennan McKenzie of Mathews were part of the Gloucester High School Homecoming Parade down Main Street on Friday. Gloucester hosted Hampton in Friday night’s homecoming game, falling to the Crabbers, 49-0.
Mathews High School seniors Gus Bauby and Kelly Adams were crowned king and queen during halftime of Friday night’s Blue Devils’ homecoming football game against King William. The Devils were blanked by the visiting Cavaliers, 53-0.
