Pack the bus

Photo: EVB Bank and the Salvation Army joined forces at the Gloucester Walmart on Saturday to fill the back of two SUVs with school supplies for local needy school children. Local individuals and churches purchased supplies in Walmart, then donated them as they exited. The effort will help over 60 Gloucester families send their children off to the first day of school with backpacks full of supplies. In addition, the children will receive clothing furnished by Ware Episcopal Church.
