Elena Procopi has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at George Mason University where she is a freshman majoring in criminal justice. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Procopi is the daughter of Greg and Patti Procopi of Gloucester.

Hannah Dutton has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at George Mason University where she is majoring in history with minor studies in business. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Dutton is the daughter of Ricky and Donna Dutton of Gloucester.

George Everett Bains and Rachel Lynne Ward, both of Gloucester, graduated from Radford University at the end of the fall semester. Bains earned a bachelor of science degree in political science and Ward earned a master of science degree in corporate and professional communications.

Jessica Kersey has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Virginia Tech where she is a freshman majoring in chemical engineering. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Kersey has also been accepted into the Honors Program at Virginia Tech. She is the daughter of Rudy and Lisa Kersey of Gloucester.

Susanna N. Jones has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Lynchburg College where she is a sophomore majoring in nursing. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Jones is the daughter of John and Angela Payne of North.

Students at Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg raised $4,420 for the American Heart Association with their Jump Rope for Heart events in February.

Johanna Bradshaw, Katie Hoffmann, and Emily Wobken of Gloucester, recently completed the course requirements for Rappahannock Community College’s nurse aide program and were recognized during a ceremony on Feb. 22 at the Glenns campus.
