The Gloucester County School Board will consider a small shift in school attendance zones during a work session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the school administration building.

The change would affect a neighborhood off Indian Road between Figg Shop and Harcum roads. It would move 32 children from Botetourt Elementary School to Petsworth in the fall to ease crowding at Botetourt.

The affected families reside on Abbey Road, Beasley Drive, Beaverdam Lane, Beech Creek Drive, Carter Hill Street, Deer Stand Drive, Ever Green Lane, Indian Road, Indian Creek Trail, Lake View Drive, Marys Lane, Mohican Drive and Old Cabin Lane.

The 32 children that would move to Petsworth include 10 fifth graders, six in fourth grade, six in third grade, three in second grade, four in first grade and three kindergartners. The neighborhood was last affected by a school attendance zone change in 2009.
