Ware students work to make G-M Free Clinic more child-friendly
Inspired by their recent informative tour of the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic, some children at Ware Academy are making their own contribution to the facility that provides so much to the local community.
Ware’s Lower School children (grades 3-5) decided the clinic could use some positive message décor along with small furniture and toys to make waiting more comfortable for the children of clinic patients.
The Lower School student council leaders organized a bake sale to help kickoff the effort, and raised enough to purchase four poster-sized frames to house student art projects. The artwork will decorate the children’s waiting area.
