Gloucester High School senior Morganne Roundy (shown here with her father, Doug) raised $780.75 for Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue in a yard sale she held on Saturday at her parents’ Holly Springs subdivision home. Last year during Hurricane Irene, she was injured when a tree limb fell on her family’s vehicle, and the fundraiser was a way to express her gratitude to those who came to her aid. “We are very thankful to the fire department/EMTs and the community—and are thrilled Morganne has recovered so nicely,” said her mother, Wendy.
