Kimberly Haas was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Old Dominion University where she is majoring in speech pathology. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Haas is the daughter of Michelle and Larry Haas of Gloucester.
The following local students received degrees from Virginia Tech during commencement ceremonies May 11: Andrew Gallagher of Gloucester, bachelor of science degree in civil engineering; Ashley Gilmartin of Gloucester, bachelor of science degree in apparel, housing and resource management; Ryan Goude of Hayes, bachelor of arts degree in interdisciplinary studies; Jennifer Skidmore of Hayes, bachelor of science degree summa cum laude in human development, and Shaun Vest of Hayes, bachelor of arts degree in philosophy.
