Jimmy Viars, the grounds manager for Gloucester County Public Schools, has been named a Certified Grounds Manager by the Professional Grounds Management Society. Viars is only the 149th recipient of the national certification, and said attaining the recognition was a year-long process. He and his staff of four manage over 400 acres of GCPS grounds.
