Gloucester High School English teachers Kathy Burns, Susan Sharp, Angie Wall and Deb Riley recently received $1,000 worth of young adult fiction and non-fiction literature for their classroom libraries. The books were award through a grant sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education through the School University Research Network at the College of William and Mary and James Madison University. The grant supports the GHS teachers’ work to infuse college and career readiness skills in their English classes.
