Jared Dellinger, a 2000 graduate of Gloucester High School, received a master of science degree in applied economics from Illinois State University during August commencement ceremonies. Dellinger’s curriculum followed the applied community and economic development sequence for students looking to combine Peace Corps or other significant community service experience with graduate level training. He completed his professional practice with the College of Lake County/Lake County Partners in Illinois and is now employed by Lake County Partners as an economic development analyst. Dellinger previously served in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu in the Pacific Islands from 2007 to 2009.
