Local students win in PTA arts contest

Local students who participated in the 2013 Rappahannock Valley District PTA Reflections Contest were invited to the awards ceremony on March 5 at Bethel Elementary School. Winners in the arts contest were as follows:

Visual Arts, grades K-2—first place, Victoria King, Bethel Elementary; second, Lauren King, Bethel; third, Eleanore Lee, Abingdon Elementary; honorable mention, Aubrey Micket, Bethel.

Visual Arts, grades 3-5—first, Farren Winter, Botetourt Elementary; second, Lila Saunders, Bethel; third, Bayleigh Albert, Botetourt; honorable mentions, Ashlynn Boulay, Botetourt and Brenda Bray, Abingdon.
