The Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning will present a series of lectures by Pete Teagle on "Airborne Operations during World War II," from 1 to 3 p.m. on three consecutive Saturdays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16 at the Gloucester Public Library.
The three-session class will cover the formation, training and deployment of United States Airborne units involved in the European and Pacific theatres during World War II, said RCC spokesperson Tom Martin.
