Gloucester School Board approves appointments

The Gloucester County School Board made several appointments during its Oct. 11 meeting. Catherine Metcalf of Hayes, was appointed as an English teacher at Gloucester High School, Kristen N. Seely of Hayes, was appointed as a business teacher at GHS and Tyler Brayton of Hampton, was appointed as the video production teacher at GHS.

Also, Alice Chestnutt of West Point, was appointed as a language arts teacher at Page Middle School, Cheri A. Rose of Mechanicsville, was appointed as a language arts teacher at Peasley Middle School, Bette Garbett was appointed as the ISAEP coordinator at GHS and Amy Crotty of Ark, was appointed as the school counselor at Walker Elementary.

In additional personnel actions, GHS security officer Brenda Gardner was promoted to security supervisor and resignations were accepted from GHS nurse assistant Breena Brown and support employees Terri Harris and Michael Cooke.
