Several Middle Peninsula residents won awards in the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s annual youth poster contest.
The youth illustrated agriculture’s importance in food production with posters that supported the theme "Farms and Food Go Together," a release said.
Winners included Chase Trainum of King William, in the kindergarten category, Reghan Pugh of King William, in the first-second grade category, and Autumn McMeechan of Middlesex, in the third-fifth grade category.
