They were recognized at the start of the school board meeting Tuesday night.
Bethel Elementary School third graders got a head start Monday afternoon recognizing Arbor Day.
Gloucester High School students helped prepare for the GHS Agriculture and FFA Plant Sale scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
The grant is to assist with travel expenses to the international competition in St. Louis, Missouri.
The team needs to raise at least $5,000 to fund its trip to this international competition.
GHS students participate.
Children must be five years old on or before Sept. 30 to be eligible for kindergarten.
The program enhances a child’s fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills through music and movement.
