School division superintendent Ben Kiser will take the board’s recommendation, with its total price tag of $54.1 million, to county supervisors on Tuesday.
“I’m excited to be returning to Page,” Burns said.
Burns was formerly an assistant administrator at Gloucester High School.
They were preparing for open house sessions next week and for the Sept. 6 return of students.
The school division expects approximately 5,850 students this year who will be served by about 476 teachers.
