Post 75 honors Boys State/Girls State participants

American Legion Post 75, Gloucester, honored student participants of this past summer’s Boys State, Girls State and the Junior Law Cadet programs with a pizza dinner on Sept. 13.

Farm Fresh partners with local schools

Farm Fresh is again offering its 123-4 the Community receipt collection program, which allows public and private schools (grades K-12) to save their Farm Fresh receipts and redeem them for free educational equipment.

Jarvis appointed to Mathews school board

The Gloucester County School Board made several appointments during its Sept. 14 meeting.

Four from MHS earn AP Scholar designation

Four 2010 graduates of Mathews High School have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board, in recognition of exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement exams.

PSAT registration held until Oct. 5 at Mathews High

The Mathews High School counseling office is accepting registration for the Preliminary SAT test through Tuesday, Oct. 5.
