Members of the Gloucester High School Class of 2013 have received over $1.1 million in scholarships and other academic awards.
Members of the Gloucester High School Class of 2013 were recognized Friday during the annual Senior Awards Assembly.
The state expects that many schools won’t pass the tests because of the changes.
Approximately $80,000 to $100,000 would be available for purchase of textbooks.
Nearly $74,000 in computers and other classroom supplies, tuition reimbursement for school employees, educational trips and other items has been awarded to individuals and groups within Mathews County Public Schools.
The Shadomy Award included cash and a certificate.
The increase will allow the VCCS to expand its science, technology, engineering, mathematics and health science programs.
