Letter: The price of inaction

Posted on Oct 31, 2012 - 11:41 AM Printer Friendly View

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

America didn’t become the greatest power in the world, as well as the most internationally caring and generous, by apologizing for our exceptionalism, bowing to Muslims, and standing around with hand outstretched, palm up, expending to be rewarded for doing nothing!

The greatest danger to both the immediate, and the long-term future of our country, resides in the White House, right now. If the prospect of allowing him to stay there, for another four years—or more—truly frightens you, then you must vote next Tuesday, or we shall all suffer the oppressive consequences of your inaction! Let us not allow this president to inflict even more wounds upon our national body, just to see how long it will take for it to convulse and bleed to death!

Al Carpenter
