The Relay for Life of Mathews would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the Mathews Lions Club for all their hard work with the fish fry which was held on Friday to benefit the Relay for Life. Your dedication and support as a hard-working club is truly a blessing to everyone in Mathews County. We as a community should be proud of this organization.
Thank you again for helping us by raising funds so we can reach our goal of $46,000.
Another thank you goes out to the hard-working men of the Piankatank Ruritan Club. We are grateful to this group for providing a building where an event like this can be held.
