Editor, Gazette-Journal:
I want to offer a sincere thank you to the volunteer coaches of the Gloucester Youth Football League. This season was the first for our White Knight Junior team to make it to the Super Bowl, with an overall record of 11-2.
What an awesome season, and what a talented football team. We are so proud of them. Thank you, Coach Walker, for giving the team your time for so many years, also thanks to coaches Barefoot, Davidson, Hardee, Saunders, Thompson and Doty. The boys were honored that Coach Merchant from GHS attended Saturday’s Super Bowl, as well as giving of his time during the season. You all have made such a positive difference in the lives of so many young men.
