Letter: Property rights being infringed upon
How truly blessed we are to be living in America with our precious heritage, the freedoms we enjoy and the advantages that those freedoms provide.
And yet, there are those who would destroy all of that.
We still have the opportunity to restore the freedoms we have already lost—and prevent any further infringement on our property rights.
With this goal in mind, the Concerned Citizens of the Middle Peninsula will be having another public meeting on Agenda 21 and sustainable development. It will be on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. Donna Holt will be the speaker.
Regrettably, when Dr. Coffman spoke, our overflow crowd of about 250 people left a number of people having to stand—and many simply could not attend as there was no longer any parking places. So, this time it will be the Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Mathews.
Where Dr. Coffman addressed the bigger picture, Donna will present more local information.
We do hope that you can attend, as this issue is at the very heart of preserving our freedoms.
