We’ve just discovered a new great place to eat breakfast and lunch in Hayes! The Island Café located at 2297 George Washington Memorial Highway (next to the theater at York River Crossing).
The Island Café is the sister restaurant to the Island Café at the Duke of York Hotel on Water Street in Yorktown. We have eaten at the Island Café several times since it has opened two weeks ago and have been extremely pleased each time. The Island Café serves delicious food, provides terrific service, and has the most colorful, upbeat atmosphere. It’s a great place to experience an "Island" atmosphere during the cold months ahead of us. Treat yourself, your family and friends!
