Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The citizens of Gloucester have elected supervisors and school board members, some of whom have completely shirked their responsibilities and conceded them to a dictatorial county employee who is leading the citizens down a primrose path that will lead to destruction.

His sole purpose is to improve his own resume and provide a palatial office for himself and his 74 assistants. The school superintendent is operating the school system in a dictatorial manner that is completely self-serving. The county citizens are totally misled and ignored.

Millions have been spent, but to date not one block or brick has been laid. His covert actions must be stopped immediately. If level heads had prevailed, a new school would already be under construction. The school superintendent has shown strong aspirations for the value of the Page property which he has stated is owned by the school board.

He is a loose tiger and he must be restrained immediately before he does more irreparable damage. Gloucester citizens cannot afford him.
