Letter: For Jackson
When my husband and I met E.W. Jackson at a Peninsula Patriots meeting, we saw our opportunity. Here was a man with selfless motives who wanted to bring Virginians together by giving them himself, a candidate who truly represents conservative values, but with a heart for all people.
Would anyone argue with this, that Christ reached out to help all people? Here is an ambassador of His who has excellent character, and he is committed to restoring limited government for the benefit and freedom of all. He is honest, hard-working, qualified, witty, caring, responsible and—best of all—humble!
Add to that long-suffering, as he is too noble to resort to a personal attack on his opponent. Instead, he is willing to focus on the issues of primary interest: a healthy economy and job creation. Yes, we saw our opportunity to vote for a candidate we thoroughly enjoy, so we took it. We went to our first Republican convention just to vote for him.
The inspiration continues. We are so happy to support this man! We want to keep Virginia’s budget balanced and "out of the red." Now, the opportunity is yours. Please vote Nov. 5 for E.W. Jackson for lieutenant governor.
