Letter: For Hodges
I am writing to strongly encourage every registered voter who resides in the 98th District to go to the polls on Tuesday to vote for Keith Hodges for the Virginia House of Delegates seat. Also be sure to get your friends and neighbors to do the same.
I have known Keith since he was in preschool with our son. I also had the good fortune to teach Keith in an honors political science class when he was a senior at West Point High School. As a student and to the present day, Keith has always been a person of integrity and high moral character. These are the qualities and qualifications that we need so desperately in Richmond.
Most of you know that as a small businessman/pharmacist in Gloucester, Keith is a tireless worker in the community, state and nation for many causes of great concern to our locality. He opposes unfunded mandates, both federal and state, that are placed on localities. He understands that job creation is the key to improving our overall economy, which will be done by government creating a favorable environment in which business can prosper. Keith stands for keeping taxes as low as possible and for the elimination of wasteful spending. He is not only a defender of the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution—he also understands its importance to a free society.
I would hope that all voters will consider these qualities and qualifications and take time on Tuesday to go to the polls and vote for Keith Hodges, my friend and former student. Remember, every single vote in a primary election is very, very important.
