Letter: For Gibson
I am writing to recommend and encourage my fellow small business owners to support Ken Gibson in the Aug. 23 Republican Primary.
As a small business owner himself, Ken knows that tax cuts and fewer regulations will help our businesses thrive as well as attract new knowledge and technology-based jobs to the Middle Peninsula. We offer a wonderful quality of life here for these workers, many of whom could telecommute, and these types of businesses have a light footprint environmentally. However, we must offer tax incentives and increased internet access to make ourselves more marketable to them.
If elected as our next delegate, Ken will focus on making our business environment more favorable, thereby encouraging job-providers to invest, expand, and create jobs here in the Middle Peninsula. As an attorney with 17 years of experience and former legal counsel to the General Assembly, Ken knows how to get results.
With small children of his own soon entering our public school system, Ken knows the importance of a strong education system that prepares our children for these jobs and helps attract top-quality businesses and business people to our area.
The Middle Peninsula needs a strong pro-business, pro-jobs agenda and knowledge and experience in representation. We need Ken Gibson in the House of Delegates to advocate for a favorable business climate and the future of this district.
