Letter: Clinic doing good work for community
I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation to the Spay and Neuter Clinic in the White Marsh Shopping Center in Gloucester. Five years ago I walked into the clinic looking for help with some feral cats that I had been feeding. I knew I had to get them fixed, but I had no idea how. The staff at the clinic took the time to show me how to use a live catch trap, they loaned me several traps, and provided me with appointments to bring the feral cats in to get spayed or neutered at a very reasonable price.
Without their help at that time we would have had many more kittens and would not have the healthy feral cat colony that we have today.
Since that time, I cannot express to you what the Spay and Neuter Clinic means to me. The staff at the clinic are always there to help me with the animals that come into my life. They are the most dedicated and compassionate people I know and I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. They provide our community with such a valuable, important resource and I hope to get the message across that spaying and neutering your pets, strays, or feral cats is the most responsible thing you can do for them. The clinic is a wonderful place to bring them and they are always in the best, loving, and caring hands possible.
Thank you to the staff at the Spay and Neuter Clinic, including Julie, both Angelas, the vets and especially Tammy. They all go above and beyond their daily duties and truly are an advocate for animals and have a commitment for their overall well-being. Thank you for all you do and the value you bring to our community.
