Editor, Gazette-Journal:
Even in a heated election, the letter from Al Carpenter (Gazette-Journal, Oct. 25) stands out for its racism, obnoxious charges, and that it contains not a single point of truth. Fortunately, Romney and Ryan are men of character and would not endorse a single point in the letter or accept the endorsement of the author.
