Letter: An invitation from Walsingham Academy
In the last week I have had the opportunity to come to Gloucester twice, and both times I was so warmly welcomed. On behalf of Walsingham Academy, I want to say thank you for the truly gracious reception I received.
We owe a debt of thanks to Hans Schandler and his daughter, Betina Phillips, of the River’s Inn for the beautiful reception we were able to host for interested parents. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. Many thanks also to all who attended the event on October 21.
My second visit to Gloucester included a speaking engagement at the Gloucester Rotary. Many thanks to Brian Kirschbaum, president of the Gloucester Rotary, and Rotary member Elizabeth McCormick, Walsingham class of 1986. Elizabeth’s generous offer to speak was so appreciated and so enjoyed.
On Nov. 7th, Walsingham will have its annual fall Open House and I want to extend an invitation to all Gloucester students and their parents to come and enjoy our campus and learn about our school.
On behalf of Walsingham Academy and all of our Gloucester graduates, past, present and future, thank you Gloucester.
Sister Mary Jeanne Oesterle
