Editorial: Know your legislators

The Virginia General Assembly convened Wednesday for its so-called "short" session—the second year of the biennium—in which it considers everything left over from 2012, and new issues as well.

Do you know how to reach your legislators? We offer this annual guide to help.

Del. M. Keith Hodges of Urbanna, represents the 98th District, which includes Gloucester and Mathews, in the House of Delegates. He is in the second year of his first term.

His district mailing address is P.O. Box 928, Urbanna, Va. 23175; 804-277-9801. Mike Hazlewood is his legislative assistant.

Sen. Thomas K. Norment Jr. of Williamsburg, represents the Third District, which includes Gloucester County, and is majority leader of that body. He has served since 1992.
